This year Sid & I are doing something a little more than our usual “put your money where your mouth is” stance on our Lions takes. Which allows me to introduce to you… The Take-ulator.

We were spot on with nearly all of our bets & predictions last season, so we’re gonna take it to the next level and actually track the accuracy of what we’re saying to you.

Here’s how it works:

◦ Every blog post, tweet, & podcast episode will be reviewed for “takes” after they are released to the public.

◦ A “take” will be classified as any statement that can be proven as right or wrong in the future.

◦ Every week we will update the “Take Accuracy” using the Take-ulator, to show if we’re full of shit or prove we know ball.

Due to injuries the Cowboys are coming into this one with virtually no pass rush, an area where Jared Goff excels. Not to mention the entire team will be hungry for revenge after the way last year’s contest ended in Dallas.

ARSB & top Dallas Nickelback Jourdain Lewis have been beefing all week exchanging words. We know how our guy is when he’s disrespected… look for it to be a LONG day for Lewis. Goff will have all day to throw today, and you know getting the ball into the hands of our best player is on the menu.

The Lions are still struggling against the pass, especially against high profile WR combos like CeeDee Lamb & Dak Prescott. We still think the Lions take the win today due to Dallas’ injuries on defense, but there will be points scored. Lions win in a shootout.

Tim Patrick over 17.5 Receiving Yards

The Lions role for Timmy P has been growing over the last few weeks, racking up 2 big catches for 52 yards against Seattle in our last game. The Cowboys defense will be trying their ass off to stop the main cast of weapons, we wouldn’t be surprised if Patrick makes another big play and cashes this is one go.

David Montgomery over 58.5 Rushing Yards -130

Montgomery has been looking like an elite ball carrier so far this season, earning him & Gibbs the nickname of “Sonic & Knuckles”. The Lions have a top offensive line unit and will continue their domination on the ground today, Monty reaches this line easy.
