We were spot on with nearly all of our bets & predictions last season, so we’re gonna take it to the next level and actually track the accuracy of what we’re saying to you.
Here’s how it works:
Every blog post, tweet, & podcast episode will be reviewed for “takes” after they are released to the public.
A “take” will be classified as any statement that can be proven as right or wrong in the future.
Every week we will update the “Take Accuracy” using the Take-ulator, to show if we’re full of shit or prove we know ball.
The Take-ulator can be found on the blog’s home page
Starting off… (odds are accurate to time article is posted using DraftKings Sportsbook)

Detroit Lions ML -320
After an embarrassing week 1 loss in Green Bay, the Lions will bounce back today (and run it up) on Ben Johnson and the Bears. Besides TeSlaa’s one-hander last week, the Lions offense was MIA. We think the fire is lit underneath them, expect a lot of points on the board today.

Jared Goff Over 240.5 passing yards -115
Goff played an okay game last week (31/39, 225 yards 1 TD 1 INT) with his only TD in garbage time to rookie Isaac TeSlaa. The Packers looked very very good as a team, so today will be a good test for JG for the season ahead. Smash the over here against a lesser Bears team, where Dan Campbell likely runs up the score on former colleague Ben Johnson.

Jahmyr Gibbs anytime TD scorer, over 28.5 receiving yards (-170, -110)
Gibbs had a rare slow game last week against Green Bay, gaining only 50 total yards. Last year’s NFL touchdown king has yet to find pay dirt, take Gibbs today to get us one. Jah had 10 catches for 31 yards last week against a stout Packers defense, watch as he matches his yard total on one catch today.

David Montgomery Over 11.5 longest rush -105
Montgomery carried the rock 11 times for 25 yards last week, neither RB could get anything going. Against his former team once again and the “rivalry” forming with Ben Johnson, expect some bully ball sprinkled into the game plan. After getting dominated last week, our offensive line gives Monty the space he needs today to take one at least 12 yards up the middle.

SUPER DUPER HIDDEN GEM FINDER BET OF THE WEEK: Jake Bates Over 2.5 Extra Points Made -115
