Last year we went 46-16 on our Lions predictions, and tracked the result of every one. We’re currently at 46-21 (0-5 this season, yikes).

Here’s how it works:

Every blog post, tweet, & podcast episode will be reviewed for “takes” after they are released to the public.

A “take” will be classified as any statement that can be proven as right or wrong in the future.

Every week we will update the “Take Accuracy” using the Take-ulator, to show if we’re full of shit or prove we know ball.

The Take-ulator can be found on the blog’s home page.

Starting off… (odds are accurate to time article is posted using DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jahmyr Gibbs Anytime TD Scorer -350

One word will sum up tonight’s national TV showdown. Points. A banged up Lions & Panther defense lining up against two offenses proven to score. Don’t think any farther into it, take the Lions best player to score a touchdown to boost your parlay odds.

Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime TD Scorer -135

Another week – another TD prop from the Sun God. ARSB has hauled in 5 touchdowns through the first 3 games of the season, and there is no indication things will change tonight. The Panthers secondary has been hit with injuries, and St. Brown always shows up when the lights are bright. No matter how the Lions offense gets it done tonight, Amon-Ra will capitalize on at least one of his red zone opportunities.

Jared Goff Over 1.5 Passing TDs

In a game that may very well end with 60+ total points again, the Lions high powered offense will be setting the pace. Jameson Williams has yet to find the end zone this year, and LaPorta has only scored once through the first 3 games. Carolina doesn’t have the pass rush that you lose sleep about. Those boys are due for a score, and with St. Brown & Gibbs’ ability they’ve shown to find pay dirt, Goff crosses this line easily.

Sione Vaki Over 11.5 Rushing Yards -105

Gibbs has been an absolute work horse for the Lions this year so far, dominating the snap share in the backfield. The season is long, and Vaki played his most and best so far last week. A couple of highlight blocks in the backfield to go with some carries to keep his legs ready, look for his role to expand just that little bit more again tonight. Vaki should see 5-6 carries making 12 yards easily achievable.
